Around the World, Christmas is the favorite time to share with the family.

Christmas is accompanied by beautiful traditions and especially incredible recipes that have passed from generation to generation, such as in Italy where they taste the Panettone or Pandoro, in France the Bûche de Noël, in the United States and in many other countries the spectacular baked Turkey, and so on in every part of the planet.

In Venezuela Christmas is celebrated with an exceptional banquet consisting of sweet and salty preparations and drinks that delight anyone. Like the “Hallaca”, the chicken salad, the black cake, the cream punch, and my favorite … The Venezuelan Ham Bread.


Everywhere in Venezuela this exquisite and soft bread is the king of the table, and since it was created at the beginning of the 19th century with a slightly sweet dough and filled with smoked ham, olives and raisins. 

Nowadays there are many versions, such as filling with cream cheese, peach squares instead of raisins, and even made with puff pastry.
